Marriage Disciples
A dual-purpose program:
- Receive confidential, Christ-centered mentoring to find hope and healing for a marriage in crisis.
- Become a certified Marriage Disciple to mentor and restore struggling couples using faith-based tools.
Marriage Disciples is the cornerstone of The Alexander House's mission, serving marriages through a highly-effective, faith-based, couple-to-couple mentoring model. This program is structured to support both those in need and those called to serve:
For Couples Needing Help: When your marriage is struggling or in crisis, we pair you with a trained, compassionate Marriage Disciple couple. You receive confidential, personalized support rooted in God’s plan for marriage, utilizing principles of forgiveness, communication, and prayer to address core issues like broken trust and emotional distance. The goal is to move beyond temporary fixes to achieve lasting healing, stability, and restoration of your sacred covenant.
For Couples Called to Serve: We train and certify experienced, faithful couples—who have often experienced their own marital challenges and healing—to become knowledgeable mentors, or "Disciples." You are equipped with a proven methodology to walk alongside struggling spouses, offering Christ-centered guidance and practical tools. By becoming a Marriage Disciple, you participate directly in the ministry of reconciliation, helping others rediscover the joy, permanence, and sanctity of their God-given vocation.
